Firefly is a budget airline operated by FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines. On 22 February 2011, it launched its southern hub in the Senai International Airport where we will be operating with a fleet of Boeing 737-400 aircraft and concurrently declared Kota Kinabalu International Airport as its eastern hub. This brings Firefly's total hub infrastructure to 5, with its existing hubs in the central region at Subang Airport and KL International Airport, plus Penang International Airport in the northern region.
