Portuguese Egg Tarts are egg tarts with distinctive layered pastries. Its dough is kept in the fridge for an hour after whipping, and again for 3 hours after it is mixed with butter and made into a puff pastry dough layer. The custard, made of egg yolk, milk, cream, butter, sugar, and flour, is poured onto the hollow of the tart and the tart is then baked in a 260ยบ oven.
